Smashed potatoes

A good side dish for a potluck.

8 medium sized russet  potatoes
1-1/2 cup homemade ranch dressing
1/2 lb shredded Mexican blend cheese
Salt , peppers
Bacon bits


  1. Bake potatoes.  Peel.
  2. Place in a mixing bowl. 
  3. Smash potatoes ( leave a bit chunky) 
  4. Add remaining ingredients 
  5. Pour into greased 9X13 pan 
  6. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes 
  7. Garnish with green onion and bacon
