Let's try apple cake again.

The last recipe I tried was a little crumbly and needed a little whip cream or ice cream on it.
It came out more like a bar than a cake.

I am sure that the original recipe came from the mid west.

New Apple cake

2 c sugar
2 cups flour
1 T cinnamon
1 tsp salt

2 eggs
1 c oil
1 T vanilla

6-8 apples ( 3-4 cups ) chopped apples
Nuts of desired

Mix wet ingredients, beating eggs.
Mix dry ingredients

Mix dry and wet ingredients together.

Add apples.  Mixture will be stiff.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
